About Kaylyn
Kaylyn N. Nichols is a dedicated Stage Manager and Events Coordinator who brings a unique blend of creativity, organization, and passion to her work. With a background in Technical Theatre, Arts Administration, Yoga, Dance, and Events Coordination, she's a force to be reckoned with. She's roughly the size of Tinker Bell and will bring all that whimsy along with her. Your personal event fairy is here to bring your vision to life!

Originally from Memphis, TN, Kaylyn now happily calls Rochester, NY, her home. She holds a BFA in Technical Theatre & Design with a focus on Stage Management from the University of Memphis.  They are also a practicing Witch & Eclectic Pagan with an absolute love of nature and humanity. She tends to a garden and her border collie, Tux, at home. In her time away from the Arts, she works as a Daycare Teacher — helping shape young minds into tomorrow's Artists & Leaders.

In every space they're in, Kay strives to create a positive & inclusive community. She's a fierce protector who continues to stand against the constant injustices we face.

Skills and Experience
  • Logistics and Organization: Proficient in planning and executing events of all sizes, Kaylyn excels at managing timelines, budgets, resources, and people.
  • Scheduling: With a keen eye for detail when coordinating schedules and ensuring smooth operations. She's flexible & quick to resolve in the moment when things need to run a little differently than initally planned. 
  • Event Design: Kaylyn has a passion for creating memorable experiences and transforming event spaces into unique environments. This stems from her childhood games, such as turning her bedroom into a spa, theatre, & restaurant. 
  • Technical Theatre: Her background in technical theatre provides a solid foundation in stagecraft, lighting, sound, and production management. She's well-versed in adapting her skills to other events or jobs. 
  • Jack of All Trades: Kaylyn is very well-versed and can tackle any project you put in front of them to the best of their abilities. She loves a good DIY or craft and will find a way to make your vision happen!
